Trained at the Académie d'Uccle and then in painting conservation-restoration, he returned to painting in 2015. Shown at Galerie Albert Dumont, Galerie Léonet Hoang, and the Parcours d'artistes in Ixelles and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.
Biography
Between abstraction and figuration, Jean-Philippe Braam composes a painting of materials, traces and suggested forms. In a restrained, nuanced palette, his works open a sensitive space that leaves everyone free to form their own reading.
Trained in painting at the Académie d'Uccle and then in painting conservation-restoration, Jean-Philippe Braam returned to his artistic practice in 2015.
Since then, his work has notably been shown at Galerie Albert Dumont, at Galerie Léonet Hoang, and as part of the Parcours d'artistes in Ixelles and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.
